A Sheffield resident is pushing himself to do the David Goggins 4 x 4 x 48 challenge this weekend.<\/p>\n
Joe Palmer, a 32-year-old University Lecturer, is raising money for St Luke’s Hospice, with his first run starting on Saturday at 4am GMT.<\/p>\n
The challenge, created by retired Navy Seal David Goggins, consists of a 4-mile run every 4 hours for 48 hours and will be taking place at the same time in America.<\/p>\n
\u201cI like putting myself through challenges like that,” explains Joe Palmer.<\/p>\n
“It just seemed like a good excuse to push myself and try and raise some money for a really good cause.<\/p>\n
\u201cI think it\u2019s so important that places such as St Luke\u2019s can still function at a really high quality level and deliver good quality care at that important time.”<\/p>\n
