Colitis UK looking for young IBD patients to take part in research project"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Crohn&#8217;s &amp; Colitis UK are looking for young people to take part in research they have funded at The University of Sheffield.<\/p>\n<p>Research by the national charity is looking into the benefits of mindfulness in people aged 16-25 living with Inflammatory Bowl Disease.<\/p>\n<p>A statement on <a href=\"https:\/\/www.crohnsandcolitis.org.uk\/research\/research-involvement-opportunities\/take-part-in-research\/mindfulness-intervention-for-young-people-with-crohns-or-colitis\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">their website<\/span><\/a> says: &#8220;This new study, funded by Crohn\u2019s &amp; Crohn&#39;s &amp; Colitis UK (@CrohnsColitisUK) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/CrohnsColitisUK\/status\/1366010526803836928?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">February 28, 2021<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script><\/p>\n<p>The city of Sheffield seems to be hotspot for their recent research projects.<\/p>\n<p>In October, Crohn&#8217;s &amp; Colitis UK announced that they were selected to be funded under a new Health Foundation programme called &#8216;Common Ambition&#8217;.<\/p>\n<p>The aim of the 3-year project is to improve IBD services and Sheffield is where it will first be delivered.<\/p>\n<p>Rachel Ainley, Health Services Manager at Crohn\u2019s &amp;
