That something turned out to be art, a form of creativity that is extremely close to our hearts.&#8221;<\/span><\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_32881\" style=\"width: 179px\" class=\"wp-caption alignright\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-32881\" class=\"wp-image-32881 size-medium\" src=\"https:\/\/www.shefnews.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/12\/2021\/03\/Shreya-Picture-169x300.jpg\" alt=\"Shreya Chandrasekhar:\" width=\"169\" height=\"300\" \/><p id=\"caption-attachment-32881\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Shreya Chandrasekhar: Founder of Beyond Art<\/p><\/div>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">The initiative e<\/span>ngaged these young students&#8217; artistic skills to create a variety of products such as keychains, bookmarks, coasters, and bags.<\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">An environmentalist in the making, Pooja Bhatia 17, says: &#8220;We hoped to promote creativity within our audience and sustainability through our products as they are all eco-friendly and reusable.&#8221;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">A successful venture that sold their entire p<\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">roduction of sustainable artwork raised over AED 1300, which the pair donated to <\/span><strong><em><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">&#8216;Education Uninterrupted-\u00a0<\/span><\/em><\/strong><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">a nationwide fundraising campaign that tackles the impact of the coronavirus outbreak on the children&#8217;s and youth&#8217;s education in the UAE.<\/span><\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_32878\" style=\"width: 193px\" class=\"wp-caption alignleft\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-32878\" class=\"wp-image-32878 \" src=\"https:\/\/www.shefnews.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/12\/2021\/03\/Pooja-bhatia-169x300.jpg\" alt=\"Pooja Bhatia: Founder of Beyond Art\" width=\"183\" height=\"325\" \/><p id=\"caption-attachment-32878\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Pooja Bhatia: Founder of Beyond Art<\/p><\/div>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Passionate about the Global Water Crisis and The Education for Nature Program, Ms. Chandrasekhar explains their choice of working with this campaign: &#8220;As students who have luxuries others don&#8217;t and access to much technological equipment, we were at a loss of words when we found out that so many students had to stop school since they did not have the necessary technology to attend their calls.&#8221;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Working under the country&#8217;s appropriate guidelines and laws proved to be a challenge whilst also balancing their school work. However, these setbacks did not hinder their spirits, and they found themselves painting until two AM some nights.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">An enthusiast for painting and drawing mandalas, Pooja adds: &#8220;If there was something we had to do differently, we would probably try to manage our time better.
