Novak Djokovic and Rafael Nadal are among the remaining players in the ATP Rome 2021 tennis tournament.<\/span><\/p>\n

It started on May 8 with the qualifiers and will end on Sunday with the grand final.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The men’s quarter finals are scheduled to be played tomorrow with Novak Djokovic set to play fifth seed Stefanos Tsitsipas. Throughout the tournament Djokovic has not played any seeded player and this will be his first challenge after beating his other opponents in straight sets.<\/span><\/p>\n

Meanwhile, Rafael Nadal has had to overcome the up-and-coming youngster Jannik Sinner and now faces 11th seed Denis Shapovalov for a spot in the quarter finals.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The other matches for a quarter final spot are: <\/span>Felix Auger Aliassime v Federico Delbonis, Roberto Bautista Agut (10) vs Andrey Rublev (7), Alexander Zverev (6) v Kei Nishikori and Dominic Thiem (4) v Lorenzo Sonego.<\/span><\/p>\n

In the women\u2019s draw, Ash Barty (1), Coco Gauff, Jessica Pegula and Petra Marti\u0107 are all through to the quarter finals. The remaining games to decide the quarter finals are; Karol\u00edna Pl\u00ed\u0161kov\u00e1 (9) v Vera Zvonareva, Barbora Krej\u010d\u00edkov\u00e1 v Iga \u015awi\u0105tek (15), Je\u013cena Ostapenko v Angelique Kerber and Garbi\u00f1e Muguruza (12) v Elina Svitolina (5).<\/span><\/p>\n

Andy Murray and his doubles partner Liam Broady won their first match in the men\u2019s doubles and now face eighth seed Krawietz and Tec\u0103u for a quarter final position.<\/span><\/p>\n

For the men’s game Nadal and Djokovic are the favourites to win, and Ash Barty is the favourite for the women’s draw.<\/p>\n

Matches are ongoing and more quarter final places will be decided.<\/span><\/p>\n
