This has created a lot of inconvenience for apartment residents.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Jason Liu, 24, a student resident said: \u201cI was revising my thesis when all of a sudden there was a power outage, followed by no water coming out of the tap. I was told by the apartment that it would take over 9 hours to repair the fault.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Some other residents expressed anger and alarm at the safety hazard.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.shefnews.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/12\/2023\/03\/image_6487327-858x1024.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-48092\" width=\"819\" height=\"977\" \/><figcaption>The inside view of Vita Student in a dark vision. Photo by Austin (Zhen)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Yue Shi, 21, a student who lives&nbsp;on the tenth floor of the apartment said: \u201cI think it&#8217;s really dangerous. If I was in when the power went out, I can&#8217;t imagine the consequences &#8211; I live on a high floor.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Yue recalled that the corridors of the entire apartment were pitch-black at the time, and it was difficult to avoid hitting some hard walls without using a flashlight.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cI moved in because I was told this apartment was rated as the best, but it&#8217;s the third time in just three months that it has had this kind of long-term accident and many of our residents feel that this is unfair and a fraud.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.shefnews.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/12\/2023\/03\/unnamed-660x1024.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-48126\" \/><figcaption>Residents&#8217; comments on social media app, Redbook<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>In response to the accident, Vita&#8217;s official reception stated that they apologize for the inconvenience caused by the power outage and are sorting the repair as soon as possible.
