The exhibition has come at a time of uncertainty for the club, with reports of the eviction catching the eye of thousands last year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Ethan Barnett, 21, enjoys the Sheffield nightlife and spoke about the nightclub: \u201cLeadmill is home of indie music for Sheffield and it\u2019s what got me into the whole genre of indie.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cThey\u2019ve had many artists and events happen there which fuelled my love for the music and place.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cMy most favourite nights have been there and it makes it better they keep bringing new events with more artists to see live and it\u2019s a very unique experience.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The exhibition comes almost a year after it was announced The Leadmill was facing threat of closure by its landlords.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
A campaign was launched last year with #WeCantLoseLeadmill trending across the UK.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The campaign\u2019s petition gained almost 50,000 signatures, in the hope of keeping the venue alive.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Ethan, who lives in Handsworth, Sheffield, was passionate about the venue staying open: \u201cI think if they did close, they would lose a major place in Sheffield\u2019s nightlife as it\u2019s a very unique place.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Stars like Miles Kane, Eddie Izzard and Blossoms have also shown their support for the club to stay open. You can see the video which includes these and other stars sharing their views on screen at the exhibition.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
