Increased fees at Sheffield Moor Market are a “kick in teeth” for traders.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Service charges will increase by 26.6 per cent in 2024\/25, much to the disappointment of traders, for the first time since 2013.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Waste and Street Scene Policy Committee members made the decision to raise the charges on Monday.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Craig Goodridge, the manager of Independent Travel Experts, said: \u201cI would say it is disappointing, I am a new trader and I have been here for eight months but it is what it is.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThings are going up everywhere so I understand things have to go up, then I am nervous it’s going to go up year on year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cI am going to have to be more creative, do more marketing and find ways of getting more customers in to make up that difference because the costs are rising very fast.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n
