A brand new market has opened its doors to the public this week.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Situated on Clough Road near Bramall Lane stadium, Red Brick Market boasts more than 100 stalls selling items ranging from vintage clothing and local art to handmade jewellery.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The market is designed to help local businesses thrive, with many of the stalls occupied by small, creative sellers based in Sheffield. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

One such business is Creepy Crawly Crafts. For the owner, Rosie, 23, of Wincobank, the market is a huge opportunity to get her products noticed by a wider audience.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“Having a stall on the market as a small business owner is a huge step for me, and it’s nice to branch out and be able to sell in my home town.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“It’s a huge opportunity for me to get my name out there and for people to be able to browse my delicate pieces up close.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Red Brick already has markets in Liverpool and Birmingham, and its popularity at these locations led owner Chris Day to expand into Sheffield, which he referenced in a statement on social media.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mr Day said: “This expansion reflects our dedication to creating a dynamic market place for local businesses and providing the community with a diverse and engaging shopping experience.” <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The market occupies the warehouse formerly owned by the 99 Trampoline Park and boasts a breathtaking graffiti mural at the entrance created by artist Panda, who also has a stall inside. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Unlike traditional markets, stalls are unmanned, with customers paying for products at a payment desk near the entrance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
