Vegan Market Co has confirmed it’s returning to Sheffield, with the event taking place on April 28 at the Moor Market.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The event hosts a huge variety of vegan street food vendors who showcase delicious vegan alternatives to a whole range of foods. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Event organiser Harriet Brown says anyone can attend: \u201cWe try to have a very open approach \u2013 you don\u2019t have to be vegan to attend the market, we just want to showcase great vegan products. So if you are doing Meat Free Mondays or you\u2019re interested in reducing your meat consumption, you might like to come along and see what you can find. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
“We think that this open approach helps to encourage non-vegans or people who are new to being vegan and help to raise awareness of some of the great vegan products that are out there.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cThe different mix of stallholders is always changing from market to market, so it\u2019s different each time. We probably have a wider variety of vegan street food now than we used to, and better vegan cheese options. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
“We also have more environmental charities and people\u2019s interest in this area grows and many people are choosing to go vegan for the planet. There are also more products that are less processed and more natural as these are becoming more popular.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Brown expressed the market aims to bring in even more vendors in future events: \u201cWe\u2019d like to bring in more stallholders to future markets, especially local businesses as well as local charities and community groups. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
“It\u2019s great to spread the word about veganism and we want to continue to grow the markets in local communities to do this.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The event first came to the city in 2019 and returns to Sheffield later this month before returning again on July 28 and November 10.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
