New statistics reveal that black people are over three times more likely to be stopped and searched than white people in South Yorkshire.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The data collected from September 2023 to February 2024 revealed that people who identify as black have been stopped 9.7 times per 1000 residents, 3.8 times more than for people who identify as white. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
