Rudy’s launched an all-new pizza competition earlier this week to celebrate National Pizza Day 2025.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The competition, which opened on February 10th in Sheffield, spans across all Rudy\u2019s locations and invites entrants to create their version of a classic Neapolitan<\/a> pizza.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Hamish Bebbington, 23, a supervisor at Rudy\u2019s Sheffield, said: “I\u2019d tell people to go ahead and not be scared, any entry can be a winning entry, don’t just think that because you’ve never worked in a kitchen before you’re not welcome to enter, everyone is welcome to enter, and everyone should enter.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The winner of the competition will have their pizza featured on Rudy’s menu as a limited-edition special across the nation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Additional prizes include an Ooni Karu 2 pizza oven<\/a>, a cookbook, two free pizzas each week for a year, and a half-day session with Rudy’s Academy training manager.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Matthew Clayton, 26, a Pizzaiolo at Rudy\u2019s Sheffield, advising interested entrants, said: \u201cTrial and error is the way. It’s going to go wrong at some point, but you’ve just got to go again and again and again until you get it right. Go wild.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Rudy\u2019s is highly customer-centred, with consistent efforts to \u2018encourage and give back to the community\u2019.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Attempts \u2018to be fun, authentic, and committed\u2019 are reflected by the competition which is \u2018another way for the company to embody their values\u2019.
<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Iris Yin, 21, an accounting student and customer, said: \u201cI hadn’t heard of the competition at all which is a shame as it sounds cool.\u201d <\/p>\n\n\n\n

She added: \u201cIt\u2019s a nice way to bring people together for something fun and light\u2014it feels like we really need more of that right now with everything going on in the world.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
