Theo’s Pyjama Day is returning for another year to raise money for The Children’s Hospital Charity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The fundraiser which begins tomorrow, aims to raise funds by encouraging people to wear their pyjamas for the day, as well as getting friends and family to sponsor them for \u00a32. The charity are aiming to raise \u00a310,000 in sponsorship money which will go towards helping the Sheffield Children’s Hospital give important support to young people.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Charlotte Wilson of the Children’s Hospital Charity said: “Every penny raised through Theo\u2019s Pyjama Day will help to change lives at Sheffield Children\u2019s.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“By taking part, you are helping children like Harmony<\/a>, who receives lifelong care at Sheffield Children\u2019s Hospital”.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Harmony Mansell, 7, takes part in order to support those who have supported, and will continue to support her throughout her life. So far, she has raised \u00a3720 and is still aiming to raise much more.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

‘Theo’ refers to the Charity’s Mascot, who visits Sheffield Children’s Hospital to see the children there and to raise morale.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ms. Wilson also said “From the 1st to the 30th March, we are lighting up Sheffield Children\u2019s Hospital for the month of Ramadan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“With a giant crescent moon and stars display, these lights will bring communities together for an inclusive celebration”.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

These are just two of the many events and initiatives that the Children’s Hospital Charity are running to support young children with life changing illnesses.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
