Four men have been jailed and as a result a notorious Sheffield drug line has been dismantled, following an extensive policing operation ran by South Yorkshire Police\u2019s Fortify team.<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Jordan Corrigan, David Bean, Peter Talbot and Thomas Myers, have been jailed for a total of 28 years for their involvement running the ‘JD’ drug line.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Detective Sergeant Victoria Kenny said: \u201cDrugs and organised criminality bring devastation to our local communities, with many of our residents left to deal with the damage they have caused.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In April 2024, officers stopped a vehicle that Talbot and Myers were in. Upon approaching the vehicle officers saw Myers swallow suspected Class A drugs. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

When the vehicle was searched, two mobile phones were recovered, one later confirmed to be running the \u2018JD line\u2019.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Corrigan was arrested near to his home address, and a simultaneous warrant was executed at his address where Bean was found inside with what was later valued to be \u00a334,800 worth of crack cocaine.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Det Sgt Kenny added: \u201cThe dedication to removing illegal drugs off the streets of South Yorkshire has been shown in the case.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Corrigan, Bean, Talbot, and Myers appeared at Sheffield Crown Court on the 17th May 2024, where they pleaded not guilty for conspiracy to supply class A drugs. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

On the 13th January 2025, they all later changed their pleas to guilty after being faced with the evidence against them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On Friday 14th February, they appeared at the same court for sentencing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Corrigan, 30, of Homestead Road, Sheffield, has been sentenced to seven years and five months in prison.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

David Bean, 35, of Prospect Court, Rotherham, has been sentenced to six years and five months in prison.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Myers, 35, of Maltravers Road, Sheffield, has been sentenced to six years and six months in prison.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Talbot, 59, of Main Street, Rotherham, has been sentenced to five years and seven months in prison.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
