Sheffield Children\u2019s Hospital Charity are hosting an abseiling event in the Peak District to raise funds for their services to children supported by the hospital.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Participants will be free hanging off Millers Dale Viaduct, 100 feet above a gorge, and descend from the bridge in the heart of the Peak District.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Emily Beahan, Events Fundraising Manager for the event, says: \u201cBy taking part in Theo’s Abseil, you are helping to change the lives of children across Yorkshire, the UK, and beyond.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“Millers Dale Viaduct is a fantastic location to experience the thrill of abseiling, with its peaceful surroundings and unique setting in a picturesque valley. Whether you\u2019re a beginner or have tried it before, this session is designed to be fun for all.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The event will be led by the Dolomite Training<\/a> team who run Peak District outdoor activities. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The charity abseil will take place on Saturday 15th March 2025 on the Peak District’s Monsal Trail just outside Buxton.<\/p>\n\n\n
