Sheffield beer week has returned for 2025 and aims to build a stronger community by uplifting various venues from across the city, inspiring both business and leisure.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Matt Beety, owner of The Bear, a brewery in Sheffield, stresses the importance of the week for independent businesses. He said: \u201cYou can build your audience, which is great when it’s hard for pubs right now, pubs closing here and there. It\u2019s nice to do something for Sheffield beer week to show the things you can do and what products you\u2019ve got.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He added that this week brings together large crowds united by their shared enthusiasm for beer. He said: “I\u2019ve seen groups of friends made and that’s what really put us on the map. The beer community is very friendly and mutually supportive of little venues.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The event is ongoing, starting on March 10 and ending March 16. It originally started in 2015, and in its 11th edition, has grown into an annual celebration that many bars, breweries and pubs enjoy getting involved with yearly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Jules Gray, the organiser of the event said: “We are thrilled to bring back Sheffield beer week and invite the community to join us in celebrating the city\u2019s vibrant beer culture.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n
She noted that this year they have a specific focus on the connection between beer and food, and that many of the events during the week involve unique pairings.<\/p>\n\n\n
