A teaching assistant from Sheffield has been chosen to represent England\u2019s deaf football team in Denmark.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Will Palmer, 23, is part of a squad that is heading to Copenhagen for two friendlies against Denmark.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Will said: \u201cI think every time I put on the shirt it never gets old, I always have the same feelings as when I was a little kid watching England on the TV.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The trip will allow younger senior and development squad players with less experience to increase their exposure to playing other international teams.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Will, who lives in Kelham Island said: \u201cI think when I first put on my shirt, it was one of my proudest moments but it was a nightmare debut against America\u2026 I think in that game the nerves and emotions took over from my game.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Andy Palmer, Will\u2019s dad, said: \u201cI feel immense pride in Will and I\u2019m very happy for him and all he has accomplished to be able to play for his country.\u201d <\/p>\n\n\n
