A list of candidates for the upcoming Doncaster mayoral election have been confirmed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The 12 candidates representing different political ideologies will contest the position, currently held by Ros Jones, and stand in the election on May 1st.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Andrew Walmsley (Yorkshire Party)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Andy Hiles (Trade Unionist and Socialist Coalition)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ashan Jamil (Workers Party of Great Britain)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Doug Wright (Health and Social Care Party)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Frank Calladine (British Democratic Party)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Richie Vallance (Independent)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Alexander Jones (Reform UK)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The election is shaping up to be controversial and dynamic, with candidates presenting a wide range of policies to the electorate.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

One of the highlights will be Alexander Jones, personally endorsed by Nigel Farage, representing the Reform UK party.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Last week, messages from a social media linked to Mr Jones showing support for Andrew Tate, telling him to “Keep fighting the good fight”, was revealed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
