The Sheffield Cats Shelter is hosting an event to celebrate their 128th birthday, raising money to help buy a new building. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Their current site has helped shelter cats for over 50 years, however, due to its age, it has become outdated for their current needs. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Fundraiser, Millie Guthrie, said: \u201cIt\u2019s a Victorian building, difficult to heat, inaccessible, no parking, so we need somewhere which is accessible for people in wheelchairs, or have children in prams.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWe can help more cats if we have more rooms available.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The event will include a tombola, food and drink, arts and crafts, cat themed gifts, and much more, with all proceeds going to the charity. <\/p>\n\n\n
