A 48-year-old woman has been hospitalised after she intervened with a robbery reported in Lakeside Shopping Village, Doncaster.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

She attempted to step in but was allegedly assaulted, resulting in hospital treatment. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

South Yorkshire Police released an appeal this morning after reports of this incident which occurred on Thursday 17 April, where multiple items were stolen at the Trespass store in the shopping centre. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Officers are investigating and have released a CCTV image of a man and a woman they want to speak to as they may help with enquiries.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The man is seen to be white, mid 30s or 40s, and of a slim build. The woman is described in the same way, and with long straight blonde hair. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
