One Sheffield, Many Communities, is a Sheffield city campaign under City of Sanctuary that aims to strengthen bonds and connections between different residing groups.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Work started last Monday, leading up to celebrations in 2027 which will mark the anniversary of Sheffield becoming the first City of Sanctuary, under the eponymous campaign.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The campaign maintains its necessity due to ‘heightened community tensions stemming from poverty, misinformation, demographic change and wider social division’, as a report to the city council detailed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cThe campaign will celebrate the different communities that make Sheffield such an amazing city.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The campaign plans on holding dedicated events for International Women\u2019s Day, Pride Month, Black History Month, and Men\u2019s Health Week. It will also collaborate with other major city events and religious festivals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
