For the second year straight, Neepsend Craft Beer Festival returns to Sheffield, taking place on 27\u201328 February at Peddler Warehouse in Sheffield.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The two day festival will feature more than 100 beers across the site, celebrating Sheffield\u2019s growing craft beer scene and its high number of breweries per capita.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Organisers describe it as \u201cSheffield\u2019s freshest beer festival,\u201d as they offer attendees the chance to sample a wide range of craft beers while speaking directly to the brewers behind them. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The festival runs Friday 6-11pm and Saturday 12pm-11pm and also has a strong focus on Sheffield-based independent breweries. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Loxley Brewery and Bradfield Brewery are confirmed among the local names taking part. Alongside them, breweries from all across the UK will attend, including Pomona Island, Wylam Brewery and Lost Cause.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In addition to keg and craft pours, the festival will host a specialty cider bar and a South Yorkshire cask showcase. Local breweries competing in the showcase will be eligible for a People\u2019s Cask Award, which is voted by attendees.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Tickets are available here<\/a> and cost \u00a313.45. They include entry, a festival glass, one drink token and a programme. Under-18s are welcome free when accompanied with a responsible adult but must leave by 9pm. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Food vendors, including Spicy Biker and The Taco Trailer will operate throughout the weekend. Live entertainment will be provided by Sheffield-based musicians, including sets from Footprint Jazz Club.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Visitors will have the opportunity to sample rare and unreleased beers poured directly by the brewery teams and meet the brewers behind the taps. Guests will also have the chance to learn in detail about the brewing process.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Patrick Doody, 20, said: \u201cI\u2019ve heard a lot about Sheffield\u2019s breweries and the local beer scene. The main thing for me is trying new beers you can\u2019t usually get anywhere else. I\u2019m also excited about the festival atmosphere with so many different options all in one place.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

By bringing together local and visiting breweries, alongside cider, cask ales, street food, and live music, the Neepsend Craft Beer Festival aims to showcase Sheffield\u2019s independent brewing community in one place over two days. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
