Sheffield based social enterprise \u2018Gags For Good\u2019 are holding a comedy night for YWCA Yorkshire this International Women\u2019s Day, Sunday 8th March.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The event will be at Heist Brew Co. in Neepsend, where there will be performances from 8 female comedians, including headline act, Liesl Soards.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Co-founder of Gags for Good, April Thompson, said: \u201cIt’s a celebration of women, and a celebration of women in comedy. But also, we want to turn that celebration into action.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cIf the laughter in the room might directly support services for local women in our region, that makes the event worth doing.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

All comedians that are performing on the night are donating their time, meaning that proceeds from all tickets will directly benefit YCWA Yorkshire, and women across South Yorkshire.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Gags For Good, founded in 2025, are committed to bringing \u2018laughter with a purpose\u2019 through their events, which also include workshops to help people build confidence performing on stage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
