The annual event Open Up Artists\u2019 Studios <\/a>returned this month for its 28th anniversary.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The festival saw more than 140 artists from over 90 studios open their doors to the public, with creators from a range of disciplines coming together across Sheffield and South Yorkshire. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Co-founder Kate Jacob runs the event, which started as a means for up-and-coming talent to exhibit their work in a comfortable environment without an expensive show at a gallery.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The cultural impact of the exhibition can be seen at venues such as the Kiln Yard, Trafalgar Studios and Butcher Works Gallery. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

With the rise of AI art sweeping the world, it is as important as ever to recognise the effort put into human art.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n
