{"id":71661,"date":"2026-05-14T14:11:53","date_gmt":"2026-05-14T14:11:53","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/shefnews.co.uk\/?p=71661"},"modified":"2026-05-14T14:11:56","modified_gmt":"2026-05-14T14:11:56","slug":"watch-sheffield-university-and-college-union-ends-their-last-day-of-strikes-with-large-demonstration","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/shefnews.co.uk\/index.php\/2026\/05\/14\/watch-sheffield-university-and-college-union-ends-their-last-day-of-strikes-with-large-demonstration\/","title":{"rendered":"WATCH: Sheffield University and College Union ends their last day of strikes with large demonstration"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>They Sheffield University and College Union is now on their last day of their six-day announced strike action, that ran from Thursday 7th to Friday 8th May last week, and Monday 11th to Thursday 14th May this week.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Union are calling to halt the cuts to staffing costs that the University is currently making.
