{"id":72090,"date":"2026-05-22T09:02:18","date_gmt":"2026-05-22T09:02:18","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/shefnews.co.uk\/?p=72090"},"modified":"2026-05-22T10:25:17","modified_gmt":"2026-05-22T10:25:17","slug":"watch-pub-to-host-fundraiser-for-sheffield-youth-club","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/shefnews.co.uk\/index.php\/2026\/05\/22\/watch-pub-to-host-fundraiser-for-sheffield-youth-club\/","title":{"rendered":"WATCH: Pub to host fundraiser for Sheffield youth club"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A fundraiser is taking place this weekend to support a Sheffield youth club set up in memory of a schoolboy stabbed to death last year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Hogshead Pub in Hackenthorpe is hosting a day of activities on Sunday, including live music, children\u2019s games and an auction, with all proceeds going towards the club.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Bar manager Ben Harris-Shaw, who organised the event, said: \u201cIf kids are entertained, they\u2019re not going to want to be roaming the streets, getting in with the wrong crowds or picking knives up. They\u2019ll go down different paths in life. To me, that\u2019s what it\u2019s all about.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Harvey Willgoose was 16 when he was fatally stabbed by another boy at All Saints Catholic High School last February.
