Exhibitions by the University of Sheffield covered some of the history of the fair while weird and wonderful acts including Storm Troopers, Team BGee and Elton Wong entertained the crowds.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The event is a jointly organised by the University of Sheffield and Sheffield City Council and was completely free.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It was a big day for the Escafeld North West Morris group, who performed their first public show<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Dancer, Rosie Hodgson told ShefNews: \u201cIt\u2019s so lovely to be here at the May Fair, with the Escafeld Morris Group for our first performance. We were quite frantic getting all the costumes ready but it all paid off.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Weston Park May Fayre -
