South Yorkshire Police are appealing for witnesses after a woman was attacked in Gleadless, Sheffield.

The incident took place at around 12:20pm on Monday 15 February near a bus stop on Gleadless Road, close to the Newfield Green Shops.

The 25-year-old woman was left with bruises on her face and injuries to her body after she was assaulted by two women and a man.

The attackers also reportedly punched the victim’s dog.

The investigation is ongoing, and officers are keen for information from anyone who witnessed the attack that afternoon.
