The people of Sheffield were divided when asked whether they would share bathwater that their family members had already used.
The debate arose after Channel 4 property expert Sarah Beeny, 49, admitted to reusing the bathwater with her four sons and her husband – all of whom live on a farm in Somerset.
Speaking on Good Morning Britain this morning, the host of Double Your House For Half Your Money claimed it was no different to sharing a jacuzzi. She said: “I am really so amazed by the furore this has caused.
“People will come down and say ‘I have left the bath water in, does anyone want to use it?’. I am surprised that it has got everyone hot under the collar, to be honest.”
