A Sheffield mum received major news coverage following her sighting of a UFO, while walking her dog with her cousin last week.
Since the sighting, Jennifer Dunstan has received a multitude of comments refuting her video evidence which was featured in the Star.
With many users saying it’s fake, or simply a drone or Airbus Beluga aircraft, some have equally supported her claims.
She said: “I was bolstered by comments from some community members who saw the article, and said they too had seen the weird object at the same time myself and my cousin did.
S “Our evidence is irrefutable what with the video being digitally dated. Others also saw the object at the same time we did, and the Beluga didn’t fly over Sheffield that day.”
She even claims to have used an app to check aircrafts in real-time, “Flightradar24”, further proving her evidence of there being no reported flights at the time of her sighting.
She brings herself back down to earth, resolving that she “knows that scientists theorise that there’s likely 50 other planets in our area of the Galaxy that can harbour life, but there so far away from us that it would make time travel impossible.”
Jennifer said: “It’d be silly not to believe in extra-terrestrial life; what makes us special that were the only ones in the entire universe?”
When asked if she feared for her safety, she conceitedly replied: “If NASA or MI5 were after me, it wouldn’t be because of this!”
Despite her not explicitly feeling at risk, she still admits to some anxious behaviour due to her experience.
“Since seeing the UFO I do scan over the sky when walking along the same field. I feel oddly uneasy about it even though I’m sure there’s a reasonable explanation for it.”
Jennifer added: “Maybe we’re the aliens!”
