A para table tennis player, who trains in Sheffield, has spoken about how he feels to represent Great Britain.
Dan Thomson will represent his country in two tournaments against Spain and Italy.
Mr Thomson said: “At the moment I am feeling quite relaxed but I am sure the night before I will start getting not really nervous, but excited.”
The two tournaments are taking place between the fifth and the fourteenth of March.
Mr Thomson is currently part of Great Britain’s pathway squad and wants to play for the Performance team who are full time athletes.
Mr Thomson is studying to be a quantity surveyor at Sheffield Hallam University and balances his training and academic commitments.
