Sheffield Eagles wheelchair rugby league team have secured a place in the Challenge Cup semi-finals following a dominant 78 – 44 win over the Edinburgh Giants.

The game was played at Sheffield’s Ponds Forge and marks a major milestone in the club’s debut season in the Betfred Wheelchair Super League.

Attention now turns to this Saturday’s semi-final, where the Eagles face their toughest test yet against competition favourites Halifax Panthers, with kick off being at 11:30am at Ponds Forge.
