Doncaster Chamber has announced the returning of the South Yorkshire Women In Business Conference for the third time.
On March 25 2026 at the Legacy centre, the Chamber will be hosting its third Women In Business conference, which hopes to celebrate ambition, the shared lived experiences of women in Business and promote the power of women supporting women.
Susannah Matschke, keynote speaker at the event and 35 women under 35 winner, said: “It is really great to have these spaces for women to share their experiences. It is very rare in technology that you are in a room just with other women.”
The day will be hosted by Amelia Banful (Head of business strategy at Enviro Electronics) and will consist of Keynote speeches from both Susannah Matschke and Jill Wood, who is the President of Doncaster Chamber.
A total of three panels will be held throughout the day which will end with an in-conversation titled ‘Redefining the Professional Journey’.

In a statement, Doncaster Chamber said: “We’ll be having open, honest conversations about the challenges women face at work, breaking down stereotypes and what equality really looks like in practice.”
The event is sponsored by Advance Doncaster, an employability programme, and DN colleges group which in 2024 signed the national Association of Colleges Equity, Diversity and Inclusions Charter which pledged to strengthen their support for equality and diversity.
According to the Business Journals, one in three women reported feeling isolated or lonely at work and conferences like these hope to create a space for women in male-dominated areas where female entrepreneurs, innovators and leaders are celebrated.
Susannah Matschke, said: “When you can’t see anyone like you in a room it is really difficult to feel confident about where you are and how you want to speak up.”
Other speakers at the event will include Emma McSkelly,Lindsay Atkins, and Sarah Chadburn who will be speaking on ‘Making the call: Leading bold decisions when stakes are high.’
The other panels will focus on and are named: ‘New Leadership Contract: What today’s top talent actually expects’ and ‘Power & Influence: Networks that actually move the needle’.
