Sheffield is the second city in the UK to enjoy a new mobile planetarium that takes guests on a cosmic journey.
Planetarium Go UK uses an immersive 360 degree dome to display films about space, the universe and our solar system.
According to its website, each film “brings the night sky to communities that might never have the chance to see it clearly.” Projected visuals, contemporary music, and a narrator speaking through headphones create this experience.
There are five films on offer appealing to both families and students.
Planetarium Go has rapidly expanded from its early days in Spain to now embark on a UK tour. The last day of the planetarium is 28 March after which it goes to Hull.
