Three men have been charged, following a knife inflicted attack on a 22-year-old man in Page Hall, Sheffield.

South Yorkshire Police attended the scene within minutes after receiving a call at 4:42pm on Tuesday, where they arrested Faraz Azhar, 23 and Mohammed Ibrahim, 21 for an alleged breach of the Criminal Attempts Act. 50-year old Azhar Hussain was also arrested later on suspicion of assault.

Sheffield North East NPT Inspector Alec Gibbons said: “Yesterday, a man was stabbed in broad daylight and is now in hospital with serious injuries.

“This should not be happening in our communities, yet we are continuing to see the devastation that knife crime brings.”

South Yorkshire Police will continue to patrol the area over the next couple of days, with intentions to bring those responsible for the attack to justice.

Gibbons said: “As our enquiries progress at pace I am appealing for anyone with information to get in touch.

“You can report online or by calling 101 quoting incident number 655 of 19 May 2026.”
