A Sheffield cycling project, has reinvented itself by launching four online fitness classes for all abilities during the pandemic.

Originally, Sheffield Cycling 4 All was set up to run adaptive cycling sessions in Hillsborough Park, but now hosts weekly online workouts for people with a disability or long-term health condition.

The weekly classes take place on the platform Zoom including yoga, dance, boxing and exercise sessions, which are adapted so they can be done in a chair.

Tom Collister, 42, a Project Co-ordinator of Sheffield Cycling 4 All, said: “When Covid first struck we felt powerless because we couldn’t be in the park cycling, so the inspiration behind the online classes was to keep people moving and feel connected.”
