A top rated vintage pop up shop, Glass Onion, will open in Meadowhall tomorrow.
Glass Onion already has a store on Division Street in Sheffield and is the UK’s biggest vintage company.
Evie, retail assistant at the Division Street store, said: “Thanks to the support of our loyal customers and the appeal of our vintage offerings. It was heart warming to see people embrace sustainable fashion and walk away with pieces that reflect their individual style and values.
“Visitors to our shop can expect a curated collection of vintage finds, each with its own story to tell. From unique clothing pieces to one-of-a-kind accessories, there’s something for everyone who appreciates the beauty of timeless fashion.”
Aiyaraven, 22, a customer in the store and chemistry student at The University of Sheffield, said: “Visiting vintage stores is a way for me to kill time. Glass Onion is my favourite vintage store in Sheffield.
He added: “I think it has loads of options and decoration style, and there is an area of vintage football kits, including a classic Manchester United home kit.”
The recent sale started last month, and saw customers buy one piece for £10 and three pieces for £25 in the sale deal area for certain clothes.
The Meadowhall store will be larger than the current Division Street site, with over 2,000 new pieces of clothing expected to be on offer.
Harry,27, a customer in the store and IT engineer said: “ I can’t wait for the new store to open. I’m looking forward to this pop-up store. I will go to the opening tomorrow to check it out.”
