Crystal Events hosted a karaoke event on the 17th April in order to raise money for the charity Support Dogs.

Support Dogs is a charity dedicated to saving and improving the lives of young children and adults by providing them with well trained specialist assistant dogs.

The charity specialises in three different programs:

Autism assistance dogs which help reduce the stress levels of the individual in a social environment, seizure alert dogs for people with epilepsy, the dogs are trained to alert the individual up to an hour before an epileptic seizure and disability assistance dogs which help people with physical disabilities navigate life easier such as helping them remove their socks.

Frank Ukwueze, one of the organisers of the event, said they chose to hold a Karaoke event because it was an interactive form of entertainment that brought the community together.

Alongside the karaoke, they had guests finish the words to lyrics which involved a prize for the winner who guessed the most songs correctly as well as a dance competition.
