Sheffield’s Student Fight Night is returning with it’s third round taking place tonight at the Forge Warehouse in aid of The OddBalls Foundation.

30 students from both the University of Sheffield and Sheffield Hallam will be competing against each other in the sold-out event to be crowned one of the fight night champions.

The black-tie event, established in 2021, is run by students, for students, and aims to raise money for charity.

Competitors in this round are collecting money for The OddBalls Foundation, a foundation that raises awareness about testicular cancer.

On 29 April, the Student Fight Night organisation announced on their Instagram page that the total money raised to date was £5,979.

Alice Xie, a 20-year-old student studying Law with Chinese Law at The University of Sheffield, is one of the people participating in the fight.

So far, she has raised £175 with the aim to raise more by the end of Friday night.
