Sheffield’s Fight Night held its third event at Forge Warehouse in support of the Oddballs Foundation, a testicular cancer charity.

Oddballs host talks in both schools and workplaces in an effort to spread awareness of the signs and impacts of the illness.

Artist Joe Blackwell took this as an opportunity to design and auction a new art piece which he called ‘Fight’.

The piece is described as a ‘unique and 3D piece of wall art, which is heavily influenced by street art and graffiti, with homages to oddballs branding.’

Having suffered from a form of cancer himself in his early life, Joe was keen to get involved with the project.

He said: “Straight away I knew this was something I could get behind and wanted to help fundraise for.

“The majority of the fighters raised money through ticket sales and donations, whereas I was given a lot of free reign when it came to how I wanted to fundraise.”

The piece was sold on the night for £800. To date the event last weekend has raised over £20,000 for the foundation over three events that started last year and will continue to be held in the city.
