Graves Animal Farm has announced the return of llama trekking following the success of previous treks.

Their guided llama walks are set to launch this weekend and will be available every weekend until Sunday July 21.

The team is aiming to get more people involved this year, by lowering their age requirements to welcome anybody over the age of 10.

Sasha Portas, a member of staff at the farm, said: “It’s such a fun experience, so I’m hoping to see even more people taking part this time around.”

The experience involves guiding the llamas on a lead through the farm and nearby woodland area.

When Graves Animal Farm recently announced that llama trekking would be making a return at their Country Fair, it was well-received by the local community.

Thousands of people attended the fair which showcased a tractor display, funfair rides and many stalls. The event raised money in support of the animal farm, which relies on donations to keep both the farm running, and the animals healthy.

The farm also invites children of all ages to visit and feed the variety of animals there – including goats, pigs, horses and lambs, as well as ducks, ferrets, guinea pigs and even a peacock.
