Sheffield United’s Manager Chris Wilder has offered credit to his players for their approach to the season so far, with predictions to be in the Championship play-offs before their next game vs Luton Town.
The Blades are playing Luton Town tomorrow at 3pm and are predicted to win.
Saturday’s opponents are currently at the bottom of the Championship league with only 27 points.
Sheffield United’s Manager Chris Wilder said: “I’m expecting Luton town to be at their best and their best effort.
“When their support gets going which, I’m sure it will, we have to make sure we control our emotions and get the performance right.
“I’m looking at this as Luton town vs Sheffield united and it’s gonna be a tough game.”

This match comes after a player injury from Tom Cannon before halftime during last week’s victory over Middlesbrough.
Speaking on Canon, Wilder said: “He’s come from a different background and he’s played his part in a team that won three games on the spin.
“There’s more to come from him, we have to be patient and we can’t rush.
“These boys don’t feel comfortable being injured. They want to be out there.”
The football club are currently placed second in the championship table and are just two points behind Leeds United.
Wilder said: “Getting to 50 points was obviously our first target which we’ve reached, getting to 74 points will be our second target which I should imagine will stick us in the play-offs.”
This season is looking to be a consolidation season after last years demotion from the Premier league to the Championship.
Wilder said: “The team wasn’t set at the start of the season; they were undercooked in so many ways.
“The team was not set up to have a positive season.”
Despite the success, Wilder has warned not to become complacent with their position.
The manager said: “Luton Town is always a difficult place to go.
“You have to have that tough mindset.
“We understand we have to turn up and make sure that we’re right in so many ways.
“Once you get momentum going one way you can also get it the other way.”
