Sheffield United Coach Chris Wilder was full of confidence about going away to Queens Park Rangers on Saturday, saying “there’s a lot of football to be played, and a load of points to be won.”
Sheffield United are second in the Championship going into the fixture at Loftus Road, while hosts QPR are 14th in the standings.

When asked about QPR’s good form at home, Wilder said he fancied their chances of going there and getting a result, adding: “We’ve got the best away record in the division and we need to cement that by doing all the good things we’ve done recently.”
This game comes after the Blades’ 3-1 loss at home to league leaders Leeds United. Wilder commented that he’s not one to be massively gushing over performances but was just “disappointed and mad at the goals from set plays.”
“We went toe to toe at our place with the best team in the division and just came up a little bit short,” he added.
Jamie Shakleton and Femi Seriki are both back training with the squad and in contention for the game at Loftus Road, while Alfie Gilchrist is back at parent club Chelsea for rehab after turning his ankle in training, and Harry Clarke is still being assessed for a foot injury.
Wilder was also full of praise for former Arsenal defender Rob Holding, who has been with the side for less than a month: “He’s impressed everybody. He’s in really good shape despite not playing much first team football. His mentality is fabulous.
“To have him among us is a real positive.”
