The new supermarket will be replacing Melody Couture, across from Primark on the Moor, which closed down earlier this year after running for more than three decades.

Hello Japan will add a new flavour to the high street as the supermarket will sell produce that is fresh and organic as well as a large selection of Asian snacks and sweets.

Melody Couture was an independent store that had a niche following of regulars and students who moved to Sheffield for university.

With it now being closed and replaced by Hello Japan, a few locals spoke to ShefNews about their thoughts on the new supermarket.
