Sheffield Hospitals Charity has launched their new campaign #NoWomanLeftBehind to tackle inequality in women’s health.
The charity released a video on international women’s day featuring influential female figures across Sheffield supporting the campaign.
This comes after research has shown disparities in care for victims of violence, underfunding for maternal care and a lack of early cancer diagnoses in deprived areas.
The charity provides extra support and funding for all Sheffield Teaching Hospitals. Their events aim to raise funds for different areas of healthcare.
The CEO, Beth Crackles, spoke of her intention to work on women’s health in Sheffield.
