Sheffield Wednesday fans have began protesting against the ownership of Dejphon Chansiri after the club failed to pay staff and player’s wages.
The protest began on Saturday at the Crucible Theatre where the club was founded in 1867 with many fans holding banners and chanting their demands for the chairman to relinquish his ownership.
Seamus Grant is a Sheffield Wednesday season ticket holder and believes that the fans deserve more transparency and honesty from the board.
Wednesday make the trip to mid-table Watford on Saturday, and the travelling fans are expected to make their thoughts known from the stands.
For a fanbase not typically inclined to speak out, this is a notable move from supporters to demand change.
