A new choir made up of people affected by homelessness has performed its debut concert in South Yorkshire.
Sheffield is the latest city to host a branch of The Choir With No Name, a national charity supporting those with experience of rough sleeping.
The performance, held at Sheffield Cathedral, followed weekly rehearsals since the choir’s launch in January.
Oli Kluczewski, choir director, said: “Some members are still facing tough times, but being part of this community offers deep support.”
The group performed uplifting songs including Sweet Dreams by The Eurythmics and One Day Like This by Elbow.
The charity runs seven choirs across the UK, where members meet weekly to sing, socialise, and enjoy a free meal cooked by volunteers.
