Sipp opened on Hickmott Road at the end of April and acts as a Healthy Deli for customers.

The café offers many products including, hot/iced coffees and teas, matcha, açaí, meal prep protein shakes, chocolate covered dates, and lots of delicious sauces and syrups- with all food made fresh to order.

Macie Curle, 21, owner of Sipp, said: “We wanted it to be somewhere people can come for good, healthy food and amazing on-trend drinks.

“We have tried to create a space that feels welcoming, friendly and comfortable, while also offering something unique through our menu, service and overall vibe.

“It is not just about food and drink — it is about the experience people have when they come in.”

Macie said that the inspiration behind setting up Sipp came from wanting to create a community space where people feel at home.

“I wanted to build something that reflected my own personality, creativity and passion for hospitality.”

Macie lives in Sheffield and said she knows there’s a strong independent business scene here, so “it felt like the right place to start.”

Sipp took around two weeks to set up, from planning and designing the space to sorting suppliers, equipment, creating the menu and more.

Macie, said: “We put effort into the quality of our food and drinks, the service we provide, and the environment we create.

“People should come and try it because we genuinely care about what we do.

The feedback from customers so far has been very positive and Macie said: “we are really grateful for everyone who has supported us so far.”

The aim for Sipp is to continue building a loyal customer base, to grow and to keep improving their menu and products.

The owner said: “We would love Sipp to become a well-known local spot in Sheffield and somewhere people want to return to again and again.”

She said it has been a dream come true to turn her ideas of creating a warm, relaxed and friendly atmosphere into something real.

“We are excited for what is ahead and hope to welcome more people at Sipp.”
