Pollen Market returned to Castlegate in Sheffield city centre on 17 May for its second event in 2026, bringing together independent traders from across the city. Known as Sheffield’s only flower market, the event has become a stepping stone for local traders before moving into permanent shops.
Organiser Jamie Woodgate said: “We really appreciate the support that everyone brings to Pollen, and it’s amazing to get to help them develop and find their feet.”
Independent markets like Pollen continue to play a key role in Sheffield’s local economy and independent scene, providing opportunities for smaller traders to grow their businesses. The next market will take place on 19 July and will celebrate Pollen’s fifth birthday.
