East Ecclesfield goes to the Lib Dems, with councillor Geoffrey Woodcock getting 1906 votes.

Labour elected in Central Ward

Nicola Sumner has been elected in Central ward following her time as a local councillor in Rockingham ward.

There were 1012 votes for the party.

She famously won the Rockingham seat in 2021 on a coin toss.

Labour elected in Rockingham

Sherry Holling takes the seat in Rockingham, winning with 884 votes.

Labour were hopeful to keep the seat, although knew it would be close as in 2021 the seat was won on a coin toss.

If they did lose they would've lost all Labour seats in the area.

The independent party followed with 731 votes.

Labour have held onto all three seats in Wickersley North, increasing their margins from the 2021 elections. The three councillors are: Stuart Knight, Lynda Marshall, and James Napper.
