Hillsborough football stadium to host sleepover to raise money for homeless

Sheffield Wednesday Community Programme has organised a unique sleepover for fans and families to stay over night at the stadium.

The event is on Friday 22nd March, starting at 8pm and finishing at 7am the following morning.

It costs £20 per person and each person has a sponsorship aim of £100.

It confirmed the place with Sheffield City Council’s approval at Hillsborough Park fromFriday 16th to Sunday 28th July 2024.

Popular Sheffield pub set to undergo summer refurbishments

Victorian pub in Broomhill has changed ownership and is hoping to refurbish this summer.

The new ownership with Ed Mason and Steve Holt will showcase the beers from Kirkstall Brewery and Five Points Brewing.

The pub will be reopen with 4pm today, with same food but newly brewed beer and friendly staff.
